When I was in the GasBuddy Corner Cafe, I saw a post saying that they did not like coffee houses and suggested a bar. Well, you are here now cause I just opened one. There is Free lunch on the sidebar, we have Karoki on Thursday Nites so enjoy yourself. It's amature comedian nite here every day. If you want to entertain just grab the microphone and have at it. Or there are plenty of private booths to keep your conversation and identity private, enjoy....

Woohoo! Free drinks! I need something to sooth sore shoveling muscles.

Happy Thanksgiving, all. Even you Canucks, who already had yours. Enjoy ours, too.

Hey, thanks for the open bar, BG.

No Voldemort yet, but the radar says we're about to get dumped on. Stepson has already canceled his drive over from Boston.

db, After the wind dies down it will feel a little better...still not warm though. :)

BG, That's a thought. If churches served beverages during the service, they would get that extra revenue. :)

I think yer church is appropriately named, geezer. I'm guessin' you could use some redeemin', but don't let that stop ya from returnin' yer beer (empty) bottles. With all those returned bottles yer church may not have ta require as much in the Sunday collection basket!

Barkeep, send a couple of full beer bottles to this back booth, please.

BG, I go to Most Holy Redeemer church. I think it's named for some guy who always returned his beer bottles for the deposit. I don't know why that made him "most holy" though.

geeze, yer church is a hospital for sinners, not a museum for saints. I suspect ya might be the former, so I'm guessin' they'll welcome ya with open arms......but ya might wanna keep the flask in yer pocket.

Barkeep, please send a couple of yer Sunday Happy Hour Specials to this back booth.

Nope, geezer, at least one sports announcer used that (VikeQueens) and it has been picked up by many others. Kinda appropriate, isn't it? Don't even suggest something like that dg.........they'd waste much much more of our tax dollars and then they'd cry that they don't have enuf. Another tax raise would be called for and I believe we're overtaxed now. I'm finished ranting. {{{heads for the back booth}}} Barkeep, send 'em back here please. I gotta mellow out!

Cripes, the VikeQueens are playin' in the University's outdoor stadium until their new monstrosity is built(largely at taxpayer expense) and they offer $10/Hr shovel pay also. However some of our bleeding hearts protest that this isn't a living wage and we're exploitin' the "workers". The way the news media is handlin' this reminds me of all the bulls**t political ads before the election. I'm gonna hibernate in the back booth and do my best to ignore all this nonsense! Barkeep, keep 'em commin' to this back booth, please.

Hey, the Buffalo Bills are paying 10 bucks an hour to shovel out their stadium, and are throwing in a game ticket on top of that generous pay.

Nah, I think I'll hole up in the back booth instead.

Hammy, it's Jamestown, just south of Buffalo, that really got whacked. Over 60 inches so far. Five miles north, the Buffalo Airport got a measly six inches. That's how it goes with lake effect storms.

A round of drinks for Jamestown!

I heard that ya got some special hooch in yesterday, barkeep. The rumor has it that there is no tax stamp on it. Could this be home made? Send a large jug of that special to this back booth, please, since geezer is an expert in 'shine and can give us his unadulterated opinion. If he says it's heavenly, I'd like to buy a second jug for takeout.
