Sorry, new here and I didn't see this posted elsewhere but I've been using an app on Android called "Pure Gas" that is like GB but for non-ethanol carrying stations. I use it to fill up my old motorcycle so it's great to have on the road.

Senators Tom Coburn & Diane Feinstein introduced a bill to eliminate the ethanol mandate to add it to our nation's gasoline stocks. This multi-party endorsed bill to remove the ethanol mandate to gasoline is the law that will get rid of ethanol in your gas tank & needs your support. Here we go:
/stories/2013/12/12/text deleted/

darwinfinch is belatedly missing the strong opposition to ethanol. Ethanol needs high compression ratio (16:1) ethanol engines to extract its power potential AND pollution benefits. As used in low compression ratio gasoline engines, much ethanol is NOT burned, producing little power AND NOT leading to less pollution.

"Most gas now contains 10% ethanol, and that's okay."
-Kris Kiser, President of the Outdoor Power Equipment Institute

He said this in a YouTube video released 5 days ago. I guess they have updated their official viewpoint on E10 and small engines.

Your list of non-ethanol stations may be growing, but the actual number of non-ethanol stations is shrinking...

"It is the alcohol in gasoline that will do all those things."

Umm.... no. Check out the Material Safety Data sheets for ethanol and gasoline. There is no comparison. Gasoline is something like 29,000% more toxic than ethanol based on real world studies, AND it contains carcinogens. And it burns black... you can see that for yourself.

The only reason to support old fashioned crude fuel is because it is the status quo and some people are uncomfortable with change.

Goldseeker you have that exactly backwards. It is the alcohol in gasoline that will do all those things. With pure gasoline at least the mpg on most vehicles will increase.

If GasBuddy is going to separately list the dwindling number of non-ethanol stations, maybe they could also indicate the growing number of blender pumps and E85 pumps?

Non-ethanol gas? Check your nearest antique store. They might have some. You can also pick up a sweet rotary phone while you're there.

If you buy that expensive concoction of non-ethanol gas you will get more cancer causing agents of benzene, toluene, and xylene which will degrade elastomers in your motor.

Ditto to wilgockid..."Has gasbuddy ever considered listing non ethanol gas stations separately?"

We have several locations in this area that are available, we need a place to post them!

Try your local farmer's COOP. Farmers use ethanol free gasoline. Also ,ook for boat motor gas.

Another website for ethanol-free gasoline is .

I just bought a 1979 Honda CBX and I need ethanol-free gasoline for it. I live in the northern-Atlanta suburbs - Berkeley Lake (Zip 30092) to be exact. The two sites with lists and ) haven't been much help; the closest stations are so far from home or work that I'd nearly use up all my gas while driving to GET gas!

Does anyone on this forum have any suggestions for me? Help!

Doesn't help us in California. Only 6 stations listed in the whole state.
6 stations for 160,000 sq miles. That's about 50,000 sq miles per station.
For 20,000,000 registered motor vehicles that is about1 station per 6000000 vehicles.

Hello TJW68;
Actually one can get non-ethanol gasoline in California if he gets 100LL or 85LL at an airport. But then he'll be putting leaded fuel in his tank and his Catalytic convertor will be history after the first tank full.
See what great choices we have in California for a standard gasoline automobile engine.

Quite a few in Fla and Ga.

What do you expect?
I'm shocked those liberal nut-bags allow non-ethanol gas at all in their hallowed socialist utopia.

Yep, as vulcan 96 posted, some marinas sell pure gasoline. Older marine engines or any older engine may experience problems.

Some pilots test for fuel separation and water content of AVGAS.

Many times, aircraft and boats can run into difficulties very quickly and can't just pull to the berm.

Across the country, a few um unscheduled planes coming down were found to have just refuelled and that even though the fuel tank ruptured and should have caught fire, the stuff wouldn't ignite.
Quality fuel makes a difference irregardless of what we are told!

Thanks for the list TJW68!
