"This could be a good thing." It's only a good thing temporarily bro. If it stays down too long or goes too low, it'll put lots of people out of work in good paying positions, and make it worse for the rest of us and most likely, there's gonna be some layoffs as a result of all of this and some consolidations that will happen before long as well. Some of it'll be good, and the savings at the pump for those of you who can afford to drive, the savings on groceries [I'm sure we'll see some price declines temporarily], etc., that'll be good while it lasts. I'm hoping it doesn't drop below $2 to $2.25 nationally at any point here, as the economy will get worse right along with it. Too many having to work part-time, or in underpaid full-time positions who just can't make it any longer. Hell, most of my co-workers haven't seen a raise in four to 10 years at the least.
