Prices should rise in a month or two to reflect seasonality. People seem to accept and enjoy the $3+ gas prices because it is not $4.

It's two opposing forces, the prices come down which allows economic growth which drives the prices up which hinders economic growth... back and forth, back and forth

Really. Seeking to understand and find logic in the "energy pricing mess" is a full time job for those unable to see what is displayed in plain sight. Guess simple mindedness sometimes has its benefits. The oblivious, after all, re-elected the idiot for another four years and set America on a continued path of fiscal irresponsibility unheard of in history.

if there are so many people out of work, why is there still so much traffic?? how do they afford to pay for gas? this is so different than the '80's recession.
