GAS PRICES KEEP RISING

CNN -- Paying at the pump grew even more painful Saturday, as gas prices climbed for the 18th day in a row.

The price of unleaded gasoline inched higher again overnight, rising 2.7 cents to a nationwide average of $3.67 a gallon on Saturday, according to the motorist group AAA. That's almost a 30-cent increase from a month ago when the nationwide average was $3.38 a gallon.
Average prices for regular gasoline are more than $4 a gallon in California, Alaska and Hawaii, and are just shy of the $4 mark in New York, Connecticut, and Washington, D.C., according to AAA. The lowest average gas prices are in Wyoming,

Even though crude is still much cheaper than it was in 2008 (almost $150/bbl) the gas pump prices are almost where they were in 2008. Something fishy is going on.

You seldom see the main stream media report on gas prices around the world. Do a little digging and you will learn that a large portion of the developed world is paying 2x what the US pays for gas. The price of gas is not the problem. The price of oil is not the problem. Those are effects. Set your focus on the professional politicians and the federal reserve; then you will be looking at the largest driving force behind the real problems.

Only buy a few cents but the difference is noticable.
