Gas Prices Falling Before Thanksgiving

MSNBC -- Anchor Mike Morken did some checking today and found out that the lowest place to get gas in Fargo-Moorhead is the Loaf and Jug along 18th Street South, where they're selling it for $3.15 per gallon.

AAA says the average low price for gas in the F-M area last month was $3.72 per gallon -- a difference of 67 cents from today, and according to Gene Ladoucer of AAA North Dakota, while the lower price may not affect thanksgiving day travelers, since most will not use a full tank of gas, "it will really make a difference on a household budget [over time]."

I'd say that we are heading to a depression with the re-election of the Obama admin with their 'drunk sailor' spending, allowing the EPA to run amok and not controlling speculation in commodities w/i the Wall Street banks that get nearly 0% interest rate loans to play with in the oil markets. The U.S. taxpayers bailed out these Wall Street banks and now they are shafting us.

Filled up this morning at Costco, Bellingham, WA at $3.35 per gallon but at the Costco in East Wenatchee, WA it was $3.09 per gallon.

We were nearing the $3 mark and several stations were selling at 2.99 for a couple of days before the spikemeisters GREEDway (Speedway) spiked. First to 3.49 then pancaked higher to 3.59. Market prices do not justify the price - it is just to maintain their high margins - high profits - beyond belief. Monopoly power is being exercised constantly. Grrrr.
