If he's in so much trouble why isn't he in Congress? (Or running for President -- whoops, he is.)

He has been in so much trouble you'd have to be nuts to vote for him.

I agree tankerCA. Although Newt is a smart man I don't think he will make it as the GOP candidate.

If a sitting president can't do anything about the cost of gas, what do you think a presidential candidate can do except flap his gums

Gingrich would get the price of gas lower. Obama would rather give money to foreign interests. There is no shortage right now.

Newt is an idiot. He cannot control the price of gas by increasing the supply.

All the articles posted about the rising price of oil have come to the wrong conclusion. Gingrich is the cause of the rising cost of oil.
We'll know when Newt Gingrich's campaign is dying because that's when he'll leave it.

Gingrich saying he can make gas prices $2/gallon is outright lying and I pity the folks who think he, or anybody, can do anything about the price of oil.

Newt needs to hang it up and do the sensible thing and support Santorum.
The positive aspect about all the different candidates in the primary is the incumbent has to prepare to generate lies about all of them. Not a hard thing for the current administration to do, but none the less, it is something they have to do.

I was in favor of Gingrich to begin with until he made the promise of lowering the gas prices to around $2.25 --- that did him in as it did Bachman in!

Gingrich needs to stop wasting his money on this campaign. Although he's got some unique & creative ideas, his political road is a dead end.
Nevertheless... ---- OMG! ----

Oil companies seem to support GOP candidates, oil prices and profits are record high, Republican campaign donations are at a record high, who is benefiting, and where can blame be assigned.
