Gingrich Banks on Gas Prices, Georgia Win

WSJ -- With the Republican presidential race Saturday transfixed on Michigan, Newt Gingrich appeared Saturday in this San Francisco suburb, in a state that doesn’t hold a primary until June 5.

Low on funds and public support, Mr. Gingrich is betting that he can get yet another shot at the GOP nomination by focusing on a single issue — rising gas prices — rather than on his Republican rivals, whom he did not reference here during a 46-minute speech.

“There will not be any lockdown before we get to California,” Mr. Gingrich said of the race for the GOP nomination, while addressing the California GOP’s spring convention.

Gingrich is the cause of the rising cost of oil. We'll know when Newt Gingrich's campaign is dying because that's when he'll leave it.

The positive aspect about all the different candidates in the primary is the incumbent has to prepare to generate lies about all of them. Not a hard thing for the current administration to do, but none the less, it is something they have to do.
